During the last week European leaders spoke about boundaries for a climate plan for the next few years.

This meeting was set up as a preparation for the UN Climate conference in Poznan end of this year and a new global energy pact has to be arranged in Copenhagen at the end of 2009. Will Europe continue its policy or will it switch to a short term policy. Will the front runners be supported in their high ambitions or will the laggards win?
A very interesting discussion for the development of sustainability on the short term. But in the long term, climate will beat policy.
