Code of conduct
E Kwadraat Advies has its own code of conduct. On the basis of this code our consultants are appointed and our projects carried out.
Our responsibilities
We recognize our responsibilities towards our customers, employees, business partners, share-holders and society. For our customers we aim to provide added value by applying our advice not only to the needs of the customer himself, but also to those of the “clients of our clients”. For our employees we hope to be an “employer of choice” by giving interesting and challenging assignments within a pleasant and safe environment which stimulates the development of their talents and offers favorable terms of employment With our business partners – suppliers, (sub)contractors, joint-venture partners – we strive for a fruitful relationship for both parties, based on the principles of this code of conduct. For our shareholders we strive to protect the value of their investment and generate acceptable returns.
Last but not least, we strive as a member of society to carry out our work in a socially responsible way. In our recommendations we are continually on the lookout for sustainable solutions for our customers, their customers, and society. We recognize that these responsibilities are inseparable. Therefore it is our duty in all our activities to find and preserve a balance between them.
Our integrity
We believe in a sincere and honest approach in doing business, and expect the same of those we do business with. In this connection we adhere to the Code of Ethics of the EIBE (European Institute of Business Ethics). We conform to the laws and regulations of
the districts and provinces where our company and staff are at work. All of our business transactions are recorded honestly and accurately. We do not allow personal interests to interfere with business. And because of our independent position we are able to avoid conflicts of interest when advising our customers. In business dealings we accept no gifts of significant value in any form whatsoever, and also offer none.
Our economic principles
We strive for healthy financial returns as a means towards continuity. Our profit margins are for us an indication of the surplus value which we offer our clients. Our goal is to achieve a stable margin of profit by reaching and maintaining a position at the top of our market. In this we follow the principle of free and honest competition, and will not stand in the way of free enterprise by others.
Observance of our principles
We are convinced that our behavior code gives our company a solid basis. We therefore regard this code as essential to the long-term success of our enterprise. Moreover we recognize that we will be judged by our behavior, and not by what we say about our behavior. It is therefore our responsibility to see to it that everyone not only knows the code and recognizes its importance, but also respects and applies it.
